Photograph of the first version of this life-size work, done in oil in 1928. A second version replaced the dancers in the right-hand corner with an abstract landscape. In the end Jaeger remained dissatisfied and preserved only three fragments: The immediately preceding image, the 'The Pensive Woman' and 'The Abstract Landscape' and 'The Raven' shown under 'Other Works'.
